U.S. Congressman John Sullivan honored the Turkish community by visiting Tulsa Raindrop Turkish House on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. The night started with a tour of the Raindrop Turkish House and followed by conversations with members of the Turkish community.
The program continued with delicious Turkish Cuisine prepared by the Turkish Ladies for the evenings event. After conversing over a lovely table, video presentations relating to Raindrop Turkish House and recent economic developments in Turkey were shown.
After the presentations , US Congressman John Sullivan gave a speech at the fair and commented about his experiences and his thought of the importance of the participation of Turkish Americans in the community . After his speech he answered a few questions about the topic at hand and other related contemporary issues .Congressman Sullivan expressed his appreciation for all the contributions to the surrounding community that Raindrop Turkish House and the Turkish people provide. Turkish Americans in Oklahoma appreciated the Congressman's visit to the Turkish House and we are looking forward to working together both now and in the future; to better serve our community.(February 21,2012,Tulsa,OK)

Shayla Floyd who is Social Studies Specialist and Ruben Rocha (Secondary Curriculum) from CCISD that they were our guests at the Raindrop Turkish House in Corpus Christi. After they toured Raindrop, our representative gave a presentation about activities of Raindrop Turkish House. The CCISD officials were very glad that to be informed about a different and rich culture of Turkey. At the end, we presented a Turkish handmade plate to them.

The 6th Annual Turkish Language Olympiad, which was organized by Raindrop Turkish House, was held at the Hobby Center Sarofim Hall on Saturday, February 18, 2012.  Viewed by 2000 viewers, there was a festive atmosphere. The MC of the program was Fox 26’s Melissa Wilson.

The program also hosted distinguished guests including congressmen and congresswomen from Turkey, Texas State Senator Rodney Ellis and the Consul General of Turkey.

Mike Neal ,Tulsa Metro Chamber President, Chris Benge, Sr. VP Government Affairs and Nick Doctor Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy Development visited Raindrop Turkish House on Tuesday,14th February. They had lunch together with Raindrop Turkish House representatives and some Turkish businessmen. After the lunch, they have learned about activities of Raindrop Turkish House and also, about Turkiye.
