Israel Needs Your Help: Forest Fire Devastates Northern Israel. We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the damage because of the forest fire in Israel. The fire lasted four days and is considered to be the worst in Israel’s history. At least 40 people were killed and dozen were injured as the deadliest forest fire in Israel’s history swept through the north of the country.
