On August 15, 2012, the Houston Raindrop Turkish House hosted it's 145 Annual Friendship and Engagement Dinner with Educators. This event joined together distinguished educators from the Greater Houston Area for an evening of collaboration, learning, and entertainment. The program was held in the Istanbul Conference Center Ottoman Ballroom, and featured presentations on upcoming Turkish Raindrop House events such as the Silk Road Festival and educational trips to Turkey.

On August 9th, Raindrop Turkish House hosted an Annual Friendship and Engagement Dinner with Local Government Officials of the Greater Houston. Approximately eighty Governmental Officials (local government officials of greater Houston, Stafford Mayor, Police and Fire Departments, Sugarland City Council, and community members and leaders) attended this event and got information about our activities. Andy Cerota, Anchor and Reporter from Local 2, is the emcee of the event.

Greater Diversity Collaborative Memphis Meeting

Raindrop Turkish House in Memphis hosted the Greater Memphis Diversity Collaborative Meeting on Tuesday, July 24th, 2012. This meeting allowed more than twenty civil and cultural organizations in Memphis, Tennessee to exchange information about their organizations. Each organization, including the local Turkish House, presented its event schedule and diversification goals for the greater Memphis area.

Raindrop Turkish House visited State Representative Todd Hunter on Monday, April 30, 2012. Repr. Mr. Hunter and Gaye White who is District Director welcomed us in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Some information about Raindrop Turkish House and its activities were provided during the visit. We invited Mr. Hunter to Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi Branch.
