Tutoring

Raindrop Foundation offers tutoring on math, science, literature and social sciences.

At Raindrop, we understand that not all programs work for every student. We have varied our programs to fit the individual needs of the student. Working closely with area schools and communities, we offer a multifarious arrange of programs ranging from one-on-one tutoring, to Group training sessions of 6-8 students for subject and test preparation, in-center training, and out-call training sessions for ACT/SAT preparation for most area schools and centers. Our goal is to provide a program aimed at a child successfully acquiring tools for the future while helping provide convenience for parents and community members.

Qualified Trainers

Raindrop provides experts in the field of their subject area. Trainers, as we have termed our instructors, are just that. Holding relevant degrees within the subject areas that they instruct in, they train students in acquiring the skills and know-how of studying and test-taking.

Gauging Student Progress

Periodic reports on a student's progress are administered in the form of diagnostic tests throughout the course. Part of assessing a student's progress is the communication of the child's improvement to his or her parents. With the tests as an aid for assessment we, together with the parents, will determine the best training path for the student to continue on.

Small Class Programs

Currently we have 3 small class programs in session.

  • TAKS SCIENCE
  • SAT (for grades 11 and 12 )
  • PSAT (for grades 9,and 10 )
  • JSAT (for grades 7 and 8 )

One-on-One Tutoring

Raindrop Tutoring also provides one-on-one tutoring services at our location and your location.

WRITING

RAINDROP Writing's fundamental premise is based on the learning and utilization of skills essential to effectively write for academic and real-life-scenario settings. Raindrop fosters effective writing skills such as identifying sentence errors and improving sentence and paragraph structures by building off the following:

Our methods of instruction rely on a strong basis for bringing students together in developing an on-going conversation of scholarship that helps in educating students for the various elements of argumentative writing, improving critical reading and thinking skills, and training students to effectively find, investigate, and cite sources while helping students write with clarity and effectiveness. Our RAINDROP trainers consider our students as more than just students. They are thinkers, readers, researchers, and writers with aims of improving those necessary skills for effective writing.
