TAWA March Coffee Night
TAWA.JPGFirst Friday night of every month is special for TAWA and its friends, because that is the Coffee Night. The most recent Coffee Night was on the 6th of March. The topic of the night was the World Women's Day. There was a very nice presentation with a subject of "Great woman in the World". More than 40 women in the saloon both enjoyed and learned about many great women's life. After the talk, as always, women had traditional Turkish coffee. While many women were enjoying their coffee, 5 of them played a game in front of them (this is another tradition of TAWA's Coffee Nights). First they announced that 5 men were coming to the saloon, and then they brought 5 balloons with shaving cream on them. 5 women competed on shaving a balloon with a razor. It was challenging to prevent the bursting of the balloon but all of them were really successful, so TAWA had to give 5 awards! Afterwards, women got together, chatted and enjoyed each other's company during the night while they were tasting lots of delicious Turkish food. March 6, 2009
