Eid Was Celebrated In Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi

DSC_0072Our eid program started with traditional Turkish breakfast on September 3,2011 on Saturday at 10.30 am. Both parents and kids were happy for being in this atmosphere. Our community members and guests had the same eid day as they had it before in Turkey in here our branch Corpus Christi with long and happy conversation each other. After our branch representative Mr. Demir speech about eid day and coming together in this day, he thanks for coming to eid day to our guests and celebrate their eid. Kids had good times with playing together in the play ground and having their first experiences with riding ponnies. At the end of the program, gifts were given to the kids and make their day happy and families left in peace for their homes.

Raindrop Turkish House Hosted Neighbors In Corpus Christi

DSC_0145August 27, 2011 Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi branch hosted neighbors in Ramadan Dinner. Our dinner of participating in densely populated guests, administrators from Cimarron Place Health and Rehabilitation Center, faculties and students from Texas A&M University and our other dear neighbors from different part of our Coastal Bend city of Corpus Christi. After dinner our guests were informed about Raindrop Turkish House's activities like cooking classes, Turkish language classes and our other events.

Council Of Cultures Was Hosted By Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi

DSC_0509Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi branch hosted for Ramadan Dinner Council of Cultures which organizes cultural activities during year and is formed by so many different cultures' representatives in Corpus Christi. At the same time, Raindrop Turkish House had State Department guests from different countries of the world's experts in energy engineers for fast-breaking dinner. Our program started with presentation about Ramadan and continue with Corpus Christi branch representative Can Demir's welcoming speech and program ends with Council of Cultures' representative Alison Leithner and State Department guest engineer Mr. Wafa's thank you speech. Very pleased with our guests attending to our fast-breaking dinner has expressed his admiration of Turkish cuisine and fascinating atmosphere.

Raindrop Turkish House Hosted Corpus Christi Fire Department For Dinner

DSC_0100Corpus Christi Fire Department's Chief Richie Quintero, his wife and other executives from fire department joined Raindrop Turkish House Corpus Christi branch's Ramadan Dinner. Before fast-breaking dinner, fire truck and tools used for fire operations introduced to firstly to our community's curious kids and Turkish community in Corpus Christi branch attended to the fastening dinner. Chief Quintero, also informed about fire department's work, precautions to be taken in emergency situations, and most importantly, what measures should be taken in case of hurricanes. He also answered questions asked different issues about fire and fire department in Corpus Christi. After our delicious fast-breaking meal eaten in a friendly atmosphere, then our program ended up taken pictures together with our dear guests from Corpus Christi Fire Department.
