Celebrating citizenship month with cuisine classes in Raindrop Turkish House.

cuisine (3)On Saturday, November 15, 2014, participants of Raindrop cuisine classes gathered with a special theme, American Taste, to observe citizenship month. Raindrop Foundation holds cuisine classes on a regular basis to teach samples from the Turkish cuisine. A special session was held to celebrate the citizenship month. It was a session demonstrating the diversity of our city as the menu included items from the American and Turkish cuisines. Participants enjoyed mango mole, corn pudding, Ashura (Noah’s Pudding), Kisir (cracked wheat salad), baklava and borek after they are taught how to make mango mole. It was a “delicious” celebration of the citizenship month.
