Embrace Relief 2014 Share Your Holidays Food Drive Live Show at ABC 13 on Friday.

abcPlease bring your food donation to Raindrop Foundation till Friday December 5, 2014.

The cornerstone of the Embrace Relief’s mission is service above self. This year, our mission will be personified by the millions of people who will benefit from our holiday food drive, geared towards feeding families in need. Food insecurity is a substantial issue globally and we want to ensure that we are doing our part in helping out those affected by it. Many of our own neighbors right here in Houston area are currently living below the poverty line. This means that families are forced to make tough decisions in providing basic necessities. With the rising cost of food and transportation, it can become very difficult for families to choose between keeping a roof over their head and keeping food on the table.

The annual Share Your Holidays Food Drive will be hosted in collaboration with the local ABC-13 Houston news station’s Vice President of Community Affairs Cynthia Cisneros and the Houston Food Bank. Embrace Relief will be hosting a portion of the food drive with a live show on ABC 13 at the Raindrop Foundation on Friday, December 5th, 2014 at 9:00 am (located at 9301 W Bellfort St, Houston, Texas 77031). We hope that this year’s partnership will spawn a huge turnout, so that our neighbors receive the help and care that is so critically needed. Your donation will make the holiday season brighter for those who are most in need!
