Early Thanksgiving dinner with the neighbors and local communities to celebrate the Citizenship Month, which is a celebration of Houston’s civic diversity and the celebration of the contribution of all people who call Houston home. Thanksgiving creates a great opportunity to host an event that celebrates many faces of Houston. Neighbors of the Raindrop Foundation and local communities will gather around Thanksgiving tables and share and appreciate the diversity of our city. They will share their memories in a warm and friendly gathering. Around 300 guests will enjoy the food along with traditional Turkish music and engage in friendly conversations. It will create the atmosphere for appreciation of our diversity and living together.

Being aware of the food insecure families, Embrace Relief-Houston will launch a food drive in October as part of the event and donations will be presented to Houston Food Bank during the dinner on November 17,2016. Thanksgiving also creates the opportunity to raise awareness for the people in need.
