Pohaca (Turkish Bread)

Ingredients:

2 cups of milk, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of olive oil or vegetable oil

1 table spoon instant yeast (Fleishmann brand is preferable), 2/3 table spoon salt

½ cup granulated sugar, All-purpose flour almost 9 cups enough amounts to make non sticky dough. , 3 eggs

Filling: Feta cheese, parsley

Preparation:

Mix milk and water in a large mixing bowl, and heat in the microware in 2 minutes. Do not make too hot since too much heat neutralize the yeast. Add oil and sugar into milk and water mixture and lastly add 3 egg whites.

In a different cup, mix flour yeast and salt. Add flour mixture to liquid mixture and make soft but non sticky dough. Set the dough aside till it get double. At this time prepare the filling cut the feta cheese into small pieces, and chop the parsley and mix it.

 After the dough rise in double you can start shaping your pastry. After you done shaping wait about 30 more minutes to make sure it rises 2nd time. After it rises, apply egg yolks on top and pour some sesame seeds,black sesame or poppy seeds. Put it preheated oven in 425 F. Enjoy
